My Work
Thanks for popping in! I’m Joe, and I offer remote and in-person reiki sessions in my home in Denver, CO or yours. My practice is guided by a Reiki Master certification, intuitive and energy healing coursework, a 14-year meditation practice, and lifelong spiritual study.My practical and collaborative work is meant to be accessible to all people, including the skeptical. Healing unfolds through your own intention to be healed. My role is to bring healing energy into focus and to offer you insight into how the imbalances grew in the first place. I offer actionable tools that help you process emotions and experiences, establish balance, and continue the work beyond our sessions.My sessions are grounded in the idea that most ailments are rooted in imbalances within the energy body. These imbalances most often result from trauma and emotions that get stuck somewhere in the major chakra system. As such, there is an emphasis on spiritual and emotional healing in my work.
My Methods
In your first session, we will sit down for a brief discussion of how the session will go. You may also use this time to tell me of any physical areas that may need attention outside of the traditional reiki hand placements that run a line from the base of your spine to the top of your head.At the end of the session, we will discuss the findings. You are encouraged to block out at least 90 minutes so we have time for the working session and a discussion.If you book additional sessions with me in the future, I use notes from your previous session(s) to provide extra focus to the areas we found with more significant imbalances.
Psychic Impressions
As I tune into your energy body, I receive impressions from the universal field of consciousness that tell me how each energy center is doing. These impressions often appear to me as symbols that hold meaning for you. You are welcome to share their significance with me, but this is entirely up to your discretion and comfort level. Regardless, Reiki does the work.Please note that there is a psychic nature to my work. The result can be profoundly emotional and deeply personal — crying during a session is not uncommon. Therefore, I respect any client’s choice to forgo discussing the psychic impressions I receive.
About Reiki
Reiki benefits everyone who desires healing. Traditional Reiki is done with light physical touch or placing the hands just above the body's energy centers. Remote sessions are just as effective — even from thousands of miles away — and can be felt by the recipient at the time of the working. It is a practical, supportive tool for anyone looking to process, reset, and build balance.Research shows that energy healing can even impart statistically significant improvements on the physical level that cannot be attributed to a placebo effect alone.Reiki should never be used to replace professional medical and mental health care. About Joe
I grew up in Minnesota with a modern family, finding myself smack-dab in the middle of seven siblings ranging widely in age. For as long as I can remember, I have gravitated toward the spiritual.I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth and have worked in Entomology Research & Development, nonprofits, and the federal government.Now living in Denver, CO, I enjoy hiking the beautiful Rocky Mountains, cooking, art and music, playing with any dog that comes my way, and consuming as much spiritual and philosophical material as I can find.In 2017, I lost my husband whose radiant heart held the key to opening my own. He continues to be a guide in my spiritual seeking and pursuit of a compassionate life in service to others.My spiritual beliefs can be distilled into a singular concept — All is One.
Reiki Classes
I offer Reiki attunements (levels I, II, and Master) for those interested in becoming Reiki practitioners. Each class has its own curriculum, a full Reiki treatment to make you as clear a channel as you can be, and an attunement. Minneapolis, MNI received help from Joe in a time of crisis. In January 2026, ICE had taken over my neighborhood, kidnapping and killing my neighbors. My wife and I went into full helper mode. Our bodies and minds were ragged and life moved on and on even so. My girlfriend broke up with me. Our bird died. Our rat died. I saw Joe had posted free reiki to any helping combat ICE and I thought I'd give it a try. I was wary and worried because I had never done anything like this before and Joe was some cutie my friends and I crushed on in our biology classes-how could he help me? Then when I heard the session would be happening remotely with him in Colorado and me in Minneapolis, I was sure nothing would happen but I was desperate.Joe had me get comfortable and let me know about when the reiki session would start. I sat waiting when I felt what I can only describe as a whooooooosh into my abdomen. I knew without a doubt the session had started. I could tell where Joe was working at all times. It was almost like an EMDR session (for those versed in trauma therapy) feeling ALL OF THE THINGS my body and mind were not allowed to feel given the ongoing crises. It was so deeply therapeutic and after all the intense feelings I was flooded with hope, love and light. It was an incredible experience.I truly believe I wouldn't have survived everything we went through had I not received that help at that time. I also think his help made sure I didn't obtain PTSD from the violence I had witnessed up to that point. I will forever be grateful for this experience and I owe Joe so much.
